Artist Say
I am artist, basically from Yavatmal town, Maharashtra,
born in 1963. From my child hood I was interested in
Paintings. My interest in art o¬nly guided me, to
take Painting as a carrier. I was always guided &
encouraged by my elder brother Shashikant, A well-known
photographer in, Chennai.
I completed B.FA from Nagpur School of Arts (Govt.),
Nagpur, Maharashtra. In search of some new experience
& exposure, I came to Cholamandal Artist village,
Chennai. There I started growing & developing with
my painting. I worked o¬n WINDOW, an abstract expression
of feeling & experience. This lyricism leads to
evolution in architectural forms, as it was very fascinating
to express the play of light o¬n architectural forms,
I continue wi\orking o¬n this. My abstraction is
the linear configuration o¬n the surface. The linear
matrix spreads vertically. Colors are the most fascinating
aspect in my works. There is still more to work &
grow.
