Member, International Institution for Conservation of Historic and Artistic Works, London. Visited USSR, Mongolia, East Germany and Romania on Cultural Exchange Programme.

• 1931 Studied painting under the guidance of Kshitindranath Majumdar and sculpture under Girdhari Maharana, Indian Society of Oriental Art, Calcutta.
• 1938-39 Studied under Prof. R. Wlerickat, Acadmie de la Grande Chaumire and Atelier Victor Giovanelli, Paris.
