KAJOLI

Kajoli is an Indian artist who has lived and worked in Singapore, Japan and Dubai before moving to the United Kingdom. With a degree in Graphic Design and a successful career in advertising behind her, Kajoli has now worked as a freelance designer and artist for over a decade. She has also taught art and has had group shows with contemporary artists.

Kajoli’s preferred medium of work is mixed media. Texture is a critical element in her paintings so the paper or canvas that she works o¬n forms an integral part of the composition. She uses earthy tones and a limited palette to emphasize the play of shadow and light. She also works in watercolour and oil.
